Bryce Canyon National Park

Bryce Canyon National Park is a national park located in southwestern Utah. The major feature of the park is Bryce Canyon which, despite its name, is not a canyon but a giant natural amphitheater created by erosion along the eastern side of the Paunsaugunt Plateau.

Grand Staircase Escalante National Monument

If you can someday, go to Southern Utah where you MUST check out this place. It’s as close to visiting another planet as you will ever get. This photograph was taken a few miles East of Big Water.

The Bedford Oak Tree

The Bedford Oak, RT 22, Bedford, New York

One of my favorite trees, The Bedford Oak in Bedford New York is a must see. It’s estimated to be over 500 years old, its girth is 19 feet 9 inches, and the spread of its branches is 120 feet from tip to tip.

This is a combination of 4 photographs stitched together in Photoshop.

The Power of Photography

This is another great example of the power of a photograph. The photo shoot of The Beatles at Abbey Road lasted just a few minutes, but will now live on forever, thanks to being designated a landmark.

Frank Frazetta Museum VR Tour

Worked on an interesting photo project at the Frank Frazetta Museum in Pennsylvania. Frank Frazetta was an American (Brooklyn born!) fantasy and science fiction artist, noted for work in comic books, paperback book covers, paintings, posters, LP record album covers and other media. We were asked to do a flash VR tour for the museum website. If you click here you can see the  tour created from my photography. Just click on the large image and move your mouse left and right to navigate the pano.

To learn more about Frank, be sure to check out The UNOFFICIAL
Frank Frazetta Fantasy Art Gallery here: http://frankfrazetta.org.  The museum website is currently offline. Hopefully it will be back up soon: http://frankfrazettamuseum.com. Here are a few of the photographs we shot for the VR project. Enjoy!

Creativity in The Hudson Valley

This year The Historic Hudson Valley here in New York, put on some very creative Fall events. I was lucky to be able to photograph some of them for this wonderful organization. I urge anyone in the NY Metro area to be sure to support them and check out their website. Who says creativity is dead? Enjoy!
