Philipsburg Manor in the lovely town of Sleepy Hollow, NY transformed itself this October evening into a town driven mad by the infamous Headless Horseman. Elaborate costumes and the work of award-wining feature-film makeup artists really make this a fun and extremely popular event in this Hudson River town. Be sure to visit the Historic Hudson Valley website to learn about their upcoming events.
Shooting in the dark is not an easy task, so I concentrated on doing portraits using my 17 – 55mm lens and an external flash with a Westcott Micro Apollo modifier.
Watch out for the Headless Horseman!
